PLANS to build a summer house at a property in Trawden are due to be discussed by councillors tonight.
Councillors on Pendle Council's Colne committee will be asked for their views on plans submitted by Mr and Mrs C Butterworth for a property at Hollin Hall, in Trawden.
The couple want to build the summer house in the back garden of their house, which is situated behind a row of terraces at Hollin Hall.
The site is inside the development boundary for Trawden, and is also in the Trawden Forest Conservation Area.
Eight letters of objection have been received by the council, complaining of loss of privacy for residents and creeping development'.
Councillors are being recommended to approve the development.
