BOGUS callers are being given the boot with the launch of a 'No Cold Calling zone' in Blackburn.
Police have teamed up with Blackburn with Darwen's Trading Standards team and Twin Valley Homes to launch the scheme in the Daisyfield area of the town.
More than 300 residents are now part of the scheme which bans cold callers from operating in the area. It is the second No Cold Calling Zone' in the borough.
PC Emma Turner said: "This new scheme effectively bans doorstep traders from the Daisyfield area which will greatly improve feelings of safety for residents."
