DETECTIVES are hunting a man wanted in connection with an incident in which shotgun was fired at the home of mum and three children.

Raheel Khan, 26, from Shipley, is wanted in connection with the incident which happened in Beaconsfield Street, Haslingden, at 1.10am on May 7, 2017.

Officers were called after a man returned home to find damage to the front door and windows of his house. The woman and children inside the property at the time the gun was fired did not suffer any injuries.

Khan, then living in Edenfield, was originally arrested on suspicion making threats to kill, criminal damage, assault and firearms offences but was bailed on May 8. 

Detectives have now lost contact with him and are asking that anyone who sees him or knows where he is not approach him, but to contact them as soon as possible.

Det Cons Cathy Robertshaw said: “We want to locate Khan as soon as possible, and are urging anybody with information about where he might be to get in touch. We would like to make it clear that members of the public should not approach him, but should contact us straight away to pass on any information.”

Khan is described as Asian, around 6ft, of a medium build, with short, black hair and brown eyes.

He also goes by the aliases Mirza Bilal, Mohammed Bilal, Raheel Khalid and Shoaib Khan. He has links to Bradford.
