Two walkers had to be escorted from a fell by a mountain rescue team after getting lost.
Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were called out at around 3.30pm on Sunday to assist the police in a search after receiving calls that two people had come into difficulty on Fair Snape Fell near Chipping.
A spokesperson for BPMRT said: "This evening the team was called out to help two missing walkers in the Fair Snape Fell area.
"After an extensive search, team members located the two walkers and escorted them of the fell.
"Both cold but none the worse for their ordeal."
