BLACKBURN'S new gourmet burger restaurant is ready – ahead of its opening later this month.

Frankie's, which is based in the former Pitchers Bar, in Salford, had a test run on Friday night, as new magazine Asian Life celebrated its launch.

The building has been completely renovated both inside and out.

The new look interior features the signature Frankie's sign and booths.

It will serve authentic angus steak burgers and peri peri chicken as well as a range of dishes.

The new Asian Life magazine is available every month for free and is produced by the team behind the Lancashire Telegraph's sister paper Asian Image.

The second issue is out now and is available to pick up from various locations across the North West.
