A GROUP of volunteers has taken over the running of a library, launching an ethical village store to run alongside it.
After being shut for two years, Trawden’s library, on Church Street, reopens today, and volunteers proudly unveiled the new store, which aims to avoid harmful single use plastics.
Reusable glass containers will be provided, or customers can bring their own containers and pay according to the weight of certain products.
