A NEW parking scheme for a Blackburn school has been further delayed.
Parents of children at Lammack Primary were expected to be able to use the car park next to the nearby Hare and Hounds free house, part of Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School playing fields, from Monday November 12.
It was then deferred to yesterday because of problems over access for groups using it for storage.
Last night Blackburn with Drawen Council confirmed its opening had been further delayed.
Sid Jenkinson, vice-chairman of The Lammack Association said: “This delay is disappointing.
"We were lead to believe it is supposed to open for business this morning. It's quite unbelievable "
