A man was taken to hospital after crashing his motorbike on a busy main road.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash close to the Whitebirk roundabout, just off junction six of the M65 at around 12.45 today (Tuesday).
Paramedics attended the incident and found a man, believed to be in his twenties, who had come off his motorbike.
The man, from Great Harwood, was treated for leg injuries at the scene before being taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
A police spokesperson said: "At around 12.50 this afternoon we were made aware by the ambulance service of an accident on the Whitebirk roundabout where a man in his twenties had come off his motorbike and was being treated for possible leg injuries.
"No other vehicle is thought to have been involved in the crash."
An ambulance service spokesperson said: "The man's injuries are not though to be life threatening but he was taken to hospital as a precaution."
