A BURST water main in Blackburn has been repaired.
United Utilities (UU) said they received 31 calls about bad water pressure and discovered a 10-inch water main had burst in Livesey Branch Road at around 8.30am.
A UU spokesman said: "We found out a third party contractor, not working for us, hit the water main.
"Our team of engineers have now finished repairing the leaking pipe and the water should be starting to flow normally again.
"However it may take up to two hours for the water pressure to return to normal levels.
"We're sorry if this has affected you and thank you for your patience.
"Because there's been some disturbance to the pipes in your area you may notice the water is a little cloudy or discoloured."
