Person rescued from inside trapped car
A PERSON was trapped inside a vehicle following a crash on the M61 last night.
Four fire engines from Bamber Bridge, Chorley and Leyland attended a road traffic collision on the M61 southbound between junctions 8 and 9.
Firefighters used stabilising and cutting equipment to rescue one person trapped in a vehicle, who was treated by paramedics.
