A DRAFT management plan for the The Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty will be published next month.
It will go out for consultaion with week-long events in Dunsop Bridge and Clitheroe before a final version is published in March.
The plan aims to protect the Bowland's 'sense of local distinctiveness, notably its large-scale open moorland character'.
