Bowland Mountain Rescue Team were called out to reports a man was lost and fatigued on Mellor Knoll
Bowland Mountain Rescue Team were called out this evening after reports an elderly man had come into difficulty while out walking.
At around 7pm on Thursday October 11, the rescue team received a call from police detailing how a 77-year-old man was lost, fatigued and stranded on Mellor Knoll near Dunsop Bridge.
Sixteen volunteers were sent to out to the area, along with the police.
The search is ongoing and updates will follow.
