A CAR fire off a main road in Blackburn is believed to have been 'accidental'.
Thick plumes of smoke and flames could be seen from the blaze on Preston New Road at 7.07am.
A Lancashire Fire spokesman said: "The vehicle was well alight by the time firefighters from Blackburn arrived at the scene.
"They quickly extinguished the fire and also used holmatro tools at the scene.
"The owner of the vehicle was in attendance.
"The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
"Firefighters were in attendance approximately 15 minutes."
