SINGER Nathan Grisdale wowed judges on The X Factor on Sunday night.
The 23-year-old, who appeared nervous before his performance, told judges he was allergic to cats but has more than 10 dogs.
Singing his own take on Andra Day’s Rise Up, Nathan stunned the audience with his performance.
But his audition initially saw the judges split.
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson said: “You have an amazing tone.
“I know for a fact if there ever comes a time when you come to record, I think it’s going to sound incredible on track.”
The former One Direction said he was excited he was at the potential of getting the boys group because of Nathan.
Fellow judge Ayda Field agreed, calling his audition a “moment”.
But Robbie Wililams said Nathan didn’t push himself hard enough, only producing a six-out-of-ten performance.
Simon Cowell said: “I know where Robbie’s going with this. We’ve said this before about personality.”
Ayda added: “I love your personality, Nathan.
“Because it’s not in your face, its kind of quirky, cute and funny.”
But despite the judges disagreeing, Nathan still received four yesses and will go on to the next stage of the competition.
I’ve been keeping this secret for a while now!🤐 Catch me on @thexfactor tomorrow... to see how I get on 🤞🤞 pic.twitter.com/oVK8oL2DhR
