Residents in Oswaldtwistle have raised money to buy five Neighbourhood Watch signs to show they are determined to tackle crime together.
The signs have been put up in the area surrounding Edinburgh Drive. Ward councillor Colette McCormack also chipped in to buy a sixth sign.
She said: "It is easy to set up a Neighbourhood Watch group and is a great way of working together as a community.
"Anyone in Oswaldtwistle who wants help setting up a group can get in touch for advice."
