Ribble Valley's Conservative MP, Nigel Evans, has criticised Gordon Brown's speech about a new type of politics for Britain.
He said: "Unless Gordon Brown reverses the U-turn of Tony Blair on not giving a referendum on the Constitutional Treaty then his words about creating a new type of politics and trusting the people will be seen as nothing more than window dressing."
