A CHARITY is calling on people to pull on their walking boots and take on Pendle Hill to raise money for cystic fibrosis sufferers.
The Great Strides Pendle Witches Sponsored Walk, organised by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust takes place on October 28.
The walk will start in Barrowford and take a 10-mile route through Barley, up Pendle Hill and back to Pendle Heritage Centre.
It is suitable for walkers of a reasonable level of fitness.
Natalie Cossins, regional fund-raising manager for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, said: "This is a great walk for those looking for a challenge to really earn their sponsorship money. Each and every step, no matter how small, brings us closer to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis."
