A DEDICATED Princess Diana fan will be paying her own special tribute to the princess this weekend.

When the Princess died, Angela Lee (right), 44, went to Kensington Palace and spent 10 hours queuing to write her own personal message of condolence at St James's Palace.

This week she has dug out all her memorabilia and will be wearing a special Diana T-shirt all weekend as well visiting Diana's childhood home at Althorp.

The mum-of-three from Beaumont Way said Diana was often in her thoughts even after all these years.

Angela said: "I'm going to be wearing my T-shirt and remembering her because it was such a sad death.

"She was so genuine and to me she had a rapport with people. She could look into your eyes and she was very much wanting to help in whatever way she could.

"People think I'm crazy but I love this woman for the work she did. She really was everybody's Queen of Hearts. I can't believe she's gone and she was the most beautiful woman in the world. She's still very much in my heart."

Angela has plates, posters, magazines, news-paper cuttings, videos and books devoted to Diana in her collection. Her most prized possessions include a ring which is a replica of Diana's engagement ring.

Angela met her idol once in Manchester when Diana opened an exhibition. After waiting for three hours Angela got to meet Diana.

"She came over to me and she shook my hand," said Angela. "She said thank you for waiting in such cold weather' and I thought It doesn't matter'."
