MAJORETTES across the North West came to Blackburn for a dance competition.
Over 800 majorettes from Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and Wales arrived at Shadsworth Leisure Centre, Blackburn, to compete with Blackburn Onyx Majorettes who were hosting a competition. The event in association with Premier Dance Association also marked Blackburn Onyx Majorettes 10th anniversary.
Blackburn Onyx Majorettes babies won their category and won best leader.
The tinies team came second in the first division, the juniors came third in the first division and the seniors came 2nd in the first division.
The senior team also won best mascot.
Mandy Hartley, trainer and organiser, said: "It was a really excellent day."
