Plans for four new buildings at a farm in Hermitage Street, Rishton, have been deferred while ecologists consider the results of a bat survey.
Bats are a protected species and Hyndburn Council officials will need to consider the impact of the building work at Master Barn Farm on any bat colonies that may be roosting nearby.
