The saga of whether to provide off-road parking along a stretch of Halifax Road in Brierfield looks set to rumble on.
Residents are to be consulted on a scheme to see verges tidied and paved, without creating parking bays.
Verge marker posts have been installed but off-street car parking bays cannot be provided without the loss of a number of roadside trees.
