ROSSENDALE residents are urged to nominate their favourite place in the Valley.
The council wants to identify the area's ten favourite places.
Details and photos of the places will go on to the council's website at www.rossendale.gov.uk during October, where visitors can vote for their favourite.
The initiative is part of a national campaign by councils across the country to encourage people to visit their local council's website.
The campaign, called Pride of Place. aims to increase awareness among the public of the information and services offered by councils on-line.
So far, suggestions for the ten places include: the Halo' panopticon, Fitzpatricks Temperance Bar, Whitworth Civic Hall, Healey Dell Nature Reserve, and Rawtenstall to Stubbins on the East Lancashire Railway.
Residents should send their suggestions to nickmolyneux@ rossendalebc.gov.uk by Thursday, September 14.
