A LITTLE girl who was knocked down by a motorcycle as she played with friends is still critically ill in hospital.
Aysha Rasool, three, of Lune Street, Colne, was been left with a fractured skull and swollen brain after she collided with the bike in Midgeley Street, near her home, last Monday night.
She had stopped in the street to pick up a shoe she had dropped, at around 8.30pm, when she was hit near the junction between Midgeley Street and West Street.
Since then, her family have been constantly at her bedside at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Pendlebury, where she remains heavily sedated and severely ill.
Her father Asif Rasool said: "She is still very poorly and they are keeping her heavily sedated to try and get the swelling in her brain down."
