After another wet and windy summer in Manchester, things are finally hotting up this month with someone special all the way from LA.

Jesse Metcalfe, the famous gardener from TV Hit Desperate Housewives, is currently in the UK working on a new movie.

On Friday, August 31 he is due to appear at Manchester hotspot Opus to meet and greet fans.

Sources close to the actor describe Jesse as "a real ladies man", who is now single, and keen to make new friends in the city.

We have a pair of VIP tickets, which allow the winner free q-jump entry, the chance to chill with Jesse in the VIP and free entry to the afterparty, on offer in this competition.

Metcalfe, of French and Italian descent, played John the Gardener in Desperate Housewives, appearing in 24 episodes.

His character had a secret relationship with housewife Gabrielle Solis played by Eva Longoria and appeared shirtless in almost every scene; unsurprisingly the role catapulted Jesse to household name status in a matter of months.

He recently made his film debut as the lead role in blockbuster hit John Tucker Must Die, in which he plays a wealthy teenage playboy alongside r&b diva Ashanti.

Since then, Jesse has rarely been off of the front covers of the tabloid and magazine press, due to his well documented relationship with Nadine Coyle from Girls Aloud.

HE IS IN MANCHESTER FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY. AND HE IS SINGLE!

Advance and VIP Tickets are available from Ticketmaster. Tickets are from £7.
