Lancashire businesses celebrated investing £11.5 million into education over the last year.
More than 120 companies attended the annual Investors in Education event with guest speaker, Apprentice star Ruth Badger.
Gillian Beeley, chief executive of Lancashire Education and Business Partnership (LEBP), said: "Employers can actually influence the way that the curriculum will develop and get the skills they want in the workforce of the future."
LEPB has worked with thousands of companies to provide work experience, workshops, mentoring and life skills to schools.
