THIS year's Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival has been hailed a success - with many gigs selling out.
The bank holiday weekend event in Colne, attracts music fans from all over the country and organisers said ticket sales were up on last year.
This year's festival featured more well-known names than ever before.
Artists included Frankie Miller's Full House, Geno Washington, the Average White Band's Hamish Stuart, Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent from The Zombies and former Thin Lizzy guitarist Eric Bell.
From the United States, the women of Chicago Blues, Dietra Farr, Zora Young and Grana Louise all contribute tracks.
Festival co-ordinator Alison Goode said: "The festival has gone really well this year. The streets were busy because of the street entertainment too.
"I am really pleased and the weather has helped."
