AN electricity shop was showcasing a wide array of entertainment equipment for all the family in this advert from April 1979.
People were being encouraged to seek some springtime entertainment with portable televisions, radios, music centres and stereos on offer at a variety of different prices.
Norweb had several retail shops across East Lancashire, and were aiming to offer 'sound value' with its latest deals at the time.
Digital clock radios and cassette recorders were also on offer, giving an insight into how technology was developing as the 1980s approached.
Look forward 40 years and technology offers even more ways to entertain, while prices continue to rise.
