The fire occurred in the Shawfield area of Rawtenstall
TWO fire engines were called to a fire at around 6pm this evening.
The fire, which was caused by a tumble dryer, happened at a house in Shawfield in Rawtenstall.
Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hose reel and ventilation unit to extinguish the fire and clear the smoke.
