BLACKBURN pharmacist Moonira Hinglotwala said she gave it her all as her MasterChef journey came to an end – and missed out on a trip to Peru.
Moonira, 39, made it to the last week of the show but fell at the first hurdle as judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace selected their final four.
She said: "I gave it my all. There's nothing more I could’ve done.
"I knew it was tight. There was very little margin in it and someone had to go.
"I'm disappointed but at the same time I'm happy that I have come this far and I learnt so much.
"I've loved every single bit of it."
Judges John and Gregg said it was a very tough decision.
The remaining four contestants will now visit Peru for the next stage of finals week to be shown on BBC One on Tuesday at 9pm.
