Blackburn's out-of-form UEFA Cup opponents MyPa-47 have been thrown into turmoil ahead of next Thursday's UEFA Cup second qualifying round, first-leg tie.
Ilkka Mäkelä stood down as first team coach of the Finnish side after they crashed 3-0 at home to league leaders FC Haka on Thursday night.
MyPa-47 have now lost their last three games, conceding nine goals without reply in the process.
They currently lie sixth in the Finnish top flight and assistant coach Janne Hyppönen will take charge of the club for Thursday's clash at the Anjalankoski Stadium.
