STEPS are to headline the opening night of this summer's Lytham Festival.
As part of a pop-filled party on Wednesday, July 18, the chart-toppers will be joined by Whigfield and the Vengaboys plus DJ Pat Sharp who will be warming up the crowd with classic Nineties hits.
Steps - Lee, Claire, Lisa, Faye and H - have sold over 20 million records worldwide including three UK number one albums and singles.
They returned last year to mark their 20th anniversary with a series of sold-out concerts and a new album Tears On The Dancefloor.
Danish Eurodance star Whigfield is best known for her 90s' hit Saturday Night, while Vengaboys will get the night rocking with such classic party anthems as We Like To Party and We’re Going To Ibiza. Classical group Il Divo will headline the Last Night of the Proms event which closes the five-day event with a guest appearance by Martine McCutcheon.
Line-ups for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights will be announced later this week.
