AN investigation has been launched into a car fire in a residential street.
A blue Vauxhall Astra, situated on Mary Street, Blackburn, caught fire in the early hours of Monday morning.
Fire crews and police officers attended the scene just before 2am today.
The vehicle was well alight on arrival and a window was broken, officers said.
A fire spokesman said: "The fire was of suspicious origin and the police were informed."
