BUS workers are celebrating triple success at a prestigious awards ceremony.
The engineering support unit team at the Blackburn bus company’s Intack depot won the coveted Team of the Year award at their employer Transdev’s Amazing Awards, which took place recently.
The team provides support for all six of parent company Transdev’s depots across Lancashire and Yorkshire, responding quickly to get buses back on the road after major accident damage or breakdowns
The Blackburn bus company team joined other winners and finalists from Transdev’s six depots in Yorkshire and Lancashire — in Blackburn, Burnley, Keighley, Harrogate, York and Malton — at the presentation in Bradford.
The awards ceremony was co-hosted by comedian and broadcaster Paul Sinha, best known as The Sinnerman from ITV’s hit game show The Chase, and BBC North West Tonight TV and radio presenter Dianne Oxberry.
