A LIBRARY will reopen this month after it was marked for closure nearly two years ago.
Lancashire County Council chiefs have announced that Whalley Library will finally reopen at 9am on Monday, January 29.
The library was closed at the end of 2016 after cuts were made by town hall bosses hitting similar sites across the county, including Oswaldtwistle, Brierfield, Bacup, Whitworth, Rishton and Earby.
