PRIMARY school children painted bulbs to make a floral RAF roundel to mark the 100th anniversary of the RAF.
Simonstone Parish Council paid for red white and blue bulbs to make floral RAF roundel to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War and the RAF.
The bulbs were planted by year four pupils of St Peters School, on School Lane, Simonstone and one of the school's teachers before the Christmas break.
Bulbs were planted in the Parish Garden around the Oak back by the then Mayor of Ribble Valley Cllr Michael Ranson back in 2014 to mark the beginning of the First World War.
