The Rising Bridge roundabout has been the scene of a number of crashes
DRIVERS are being warned to expect delays after a crash on a main road this morning.
The crash happened on the A56 at the Rising Bridge roundabout near Accrington at about 8.15am.
It has caused queuing traffic and one lane of the carriageway is closed due to the accident, with travel time around 25 minutes.
Motorists also reported the collision was causing a backlog of traffic on junction eight of the M65 between Accrington and Rising Bridge.
