SUPPORTERS of a boy with a life-threatening disease are hoping to raise £2,000 through a cabaret night.
Brunshaw Action Group has organised the event for Bradley Dean, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a cancer of the nervous system, three months ago.
The eight-year-old, who is being treated at Burnley General and Pendlebury Children's Hospitals, will be attending the cabaret on Friday July 27 at the Burnley League Club, Richard Street.
Children at the action group will be singing to raise money for Bradley's family to help with their expenses.
Diane Duckworth, chairman of the action group, is hoping the evening, which also includes a disco, raffle, stand-up-bingo and an auction, will raise £2,000.
She said: "We are going to go all out to raise the money and are hoping all the people of Burnley dig deep into their pockets and show how good-hearted they are."
Bradley's mother Maria, dad Paul, sisters Shoma, four, and Sarah, five, will be at the event, which starts at 7.30pm.
The evening will be compered by Bradley's 17-year-old cousin, Jordan. Tickets (£4.50) on 01282 715400.
