Rovers reporter Rich Sharpe hands out his player ratings after the 3-1 win over Barnet.
Jayson Leutwiler 6
Left exposed for the Barnet goal but in truth had a relatively trouble free Rovers debut
Paul Downing 5
Got exposed a few times in the first half when dragged out in to the wide areas and uncharacteristically gave the ball away in the first half.
Charlie Mulgrew 6
Couldn’t halt Taylor’s break in the lead up to Barnet’s goal but did play a number of good balls forward from back to front.
Derrick Williams 6
Looked more comfortable when he moved to left-back having looked a bit lost in the back three. Still a few hairy moments in defence but kept plugging away.
Paul Caddis 5
Quiet afternoon in the right wing back role and slowed down a few too many attacks by going backwards, though rarely gave the ball away.
Corry Evans 6
Poor before the break, losing the ball on too many occasions, but improved thereafter and was involved in the build-up for the first goal.
Rekeem Harper 6
Lost the ball in the first half but was more forceful in the second half and his driving runs helped Rovers move up the pitch.
Sam Hart 5
Tried to provide an outlet down the left with some forceful runs forward but sacrificed at the break.
Ben Gladwin 5
Once again guilty of taking too many touches when in possession, but did get a few shots away, included one well saved in the first half.
Bradley Dack 7 (MAN OF THE MATCH)
Lost the ball for the Barnet goal but was one of the few in the first half who tried to probe and create. After the break came up with assists for both Nuttall and Graham and went close to contributing more assists with some excellent inswinging corners. After four goals in his last seven starts, is starting to become a real big player in this side.
Danny Graham 7
Took his goal very well and looked much better when partnered by Joe Nuttall. Had two more good chances but was denied on both occasions by Ross.
Subs
Joe Nuttall (for Hart, 46) 7
Provided a much needed spark for Rovers at the break. A neat turn and finish for his goal and was unfortunate not to add to his tally.
Marcus Antonsson (for Gladwin, 70) 7
Excellent run and finish for his goal and could be set for plenty more appearances on the wing after news of Chapman's injury.
Elliott Bennett (for Dack, 73) 6
Tried to get involved in the play after being brought on as Rovers saw the game out.
Subs not used: David Raya, Ryan Nyambe, Peter Whittingham, Elliott Ward
