VILLAGERS have been invited to attend a community hub's special Christmas event.
The Read and Simonstone Village Hall Team is urging people to hire a table at the village hall, which will cost £10 each, for a table top bargain hunt.
At the front of the stage will be 'Santa's tree' where children can write a short wish list to Father Christmas before Christmas and hang them on the tree.
Santa will hand write a personal letter and send by Royal Mail before Christmas, which will cost £2.
There will also be tea, coffee, cakes and orange squash on offer.
Entrance free for adults is £1 and children will go free.
