TWO micro bar owners are still open for business even after their mobile cocktail bar was stolen from them.
Ryan Moss and Neil Marginson, who run a pub called Greenhaus in Eccleston, Chorley, had their red and white Volkswagen camper van stolen whilst one of them was off on holiday to Zante.
The T2 1977 VW camper van had been dropped off on Neil's drive for the duration of the five day break only to find their vehicle stolen when they returned.
The police said that the VW van was picked up last Thursday travelling south on the M6 by an ANPR camera, nothing since.
Neil, 37, said: "The vehicle was just a shell when we bought it off eBay. It was imported to us from Greece.
"It cost us about £27,000 to renovate the vehicle. The sink alone cost £1,100.
"We have completely stopped running The RoadHaus, our mobile cocktail bar business, because we do not have a van to use."
Fortunately Ryan and Neil have another drinks business to keep them afloat after the theft.
Ryan and Neil's cocktail bar Greenhaus, which first opened on Easter weekend, sells 45 different types of gin ranging from gin bothy to Edinburgh gins as well as regular ones.
The bar also contains a continental fridge made up of German and Belgian beers.
The two 37-year-olds have brought in a new summer ale in this week called Baker's Beer.
All ales are £3 and it costs £5 for a single gin and tonic.
The 37-year-old added: "We decided to set up our own business after Ryan decided to give up his full time job.
"The art of conversation is not dead in our pub because we do not give the wifi password out to our customers.
"We do not want to see people on their phones.
"We had two couples come in who had lived together for 25 years and had never spoken to each other before they came to the bar.
""We want to use our bar to bring the voice back into the community."
The bar is open daily from 4pm to 11pm during the week and 2pm to midnight on the weekends.
