A BUS has had its windows smashed in an accident involving a lorry.
The Burnley Bus Company number two service was driving through Barrowford when a lorry driving in the other direction caught its windows with its offside mirror and smashed them all down the driver’s side.
One passenger was on the bus at the time and nobody was injured in the incident.
Staff at Transdev, which runs the bus service, said they will be examining CCTV to investigate the incident.
A Transdev spokesman said: “Both vehicles were going towards each other when the offside mirrors of the lorry took out some of the bus windows. We will look at CCTV footage to see exactly what happened.”
