Longsight Road, Clayton-le-Dale
A WOMAN suffered head injuries after a car crash on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene after her car came off the road.
The incident happened in Longsight Road, Clayton-le-Dale just after 5pm.
A fire spokesman said two crews were called to the scene.
He said: "The woman had some head injuries. She was bleeding when we arrived.
"We administered first aid and she was taken by ambulance to Royal Blackburn Hospital for a precautionary check-up."
