'Electrical fault' causes car fire
FIRE crews were called to an electrical fault in a car in Darwen.
The incident took place at 10pm on Highfield Road at the junction of Sudell Road last night.
A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: "It was an accidental fire and was an electrical fault under the bonnet.
"One appliance attended the scene and used a high pressure hose and no-one was injured."
