INVESTIGATORS conducting a probe into the death of a man following his arrest have denied that six police officers have been suspended.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission, which is investigation the death, has said no officers have been suspended as part of its investigation into the death of Nadeem Khan, from Blackburn.
Mr Khan, 28, known as Dean, died in Burnley General Hospital on Saturday morning after he was arrested in Burnley Road, Brierfield.
Police were called to reports of a man in the street attacking cars and homes - and leaving a trail of his own blood.
Mr Khan, was taken to the town's police station but transferred to hospital when he became unwell.
Family and friends were tomorrow due to hold a march from Abel Street, Burnley to the police station to allow people to pay their respects and highlight the fact that they had concerns about what happened.

His mother, Brenda Smith is at the back of the photograph.
A family statement said: "Dean was a great son, brother, friend and dad and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
"He was the one who everyone turned to in the time of need and the family always felt protected when he was around. We just wish we were there to protect him. "
