TRAFFIC and public transport arrangements for next month’s Todmorden Agricultural Show in Cliviger have been finalised.
The organisers, Lancashire County Council and the police, have agreed the highway changes needed for the event on Saturday, June 17, near the Ram Inn in Burnley Road.
First Bus will provide special services between Todmorden, Cliviger and Burnley to ensure visitors can get to and from the show easily.
Its is the first time the event has been held outside its home town since it started in 1912.
The show had previously been held in Centre Vale Park, Burnley Road, in Todmorden but this year it was deemed unviable to keep it there.
A Burnley Council spokesman said: “All the key traffic and bus arrangements have now been finalised.”
