Colne is feeling tickled pink after seeing planters of flowers go up throughout the town for its North West in Bloom bid.
And to say thank you to Asda, which has sponsored the project, organisers have chosen pink flowers for planters and troughs in honour of the Asda breast cancer campaign, Tickled Pink.
Coun Dorothy Lord, one of the organisers, said: "The pink flowers are right through the town centre.
"The North West in Bloom judges will be coming round on July 19 and we are asking shopkeepers in the town if they would consider putting hanging baskets up to help with the bid."
