A pensioner died 14 days falling at her home, an inquest heard.
Audrey Scott, 80, a retired retailer from Aspden Lane, Oswaldtistle, was admitted to hospital on Wednesday, June 13 after a fall.
An inquest heard that she was admitted with a fracture to her left leg and on Saturday, June 16 she underwent surgery. Her condition deteriorated and she died on Wednesday, June 27.
The inquest was adjourned to August 30.
