A 36-YEAR-OLD man who lost his job after booking a holiday to Spain was caught stealing clothes for his vacation from a town centre store.
Blackburn Magistrates Court heard Mamadou-lamine Gassama was detained as he left TK Maxx with £75 worth of goods.

Gassama, of Whalley Range, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
Damian Pickup, defending, said his client had come to the United Kingdom from France in 2014 and had been in work until losing his job in November.
“He had already booked and paid for a holiday to Spain and the items of clothing were for that holiday,” said Mr Pickup.
