Businessman Imran Hakim's iTeddy - the hi-tech product which won a cash grant from TV's Dragons' Den - has been unveiled in a high-profile launch at London Zoo.
The interactive teddy bear incorp-orates a personal media player - a mini computer screen - on its tummy.
It will now be sold in Argos, with a retail price of about £55 following the launch.
Mr Hakim , 29, who runs several businesses in Blackburn, and lives in the town, got backing for his invention from judges Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis on Dragon's Den.
They agreed to invest £140,000 in the toy.
