A COMMUNITY volunteer has been praised for her hard work during the last six years as she leaves the post.
Pat Dolan has been a director of the South West Burnley Community Enterprise Centre for two years, in addition to four years in other roles.
She is now returning to her home town in Ireland to be with her family.
Pat is known in the area for her work on the Stoops estate, particularly the regeneration of the dilapidated play area in Harold Avenue.
She was thanked as having been a great asset' by former MP Peter Pike, now chairman at the Community Enterprise Centre.
Peter Tarren, chairman of the South West Burnley Panel said: "We could do with more people like her."
She was presented with an album of her time at the centre.
